Glow Keys

Let's learn some chords

A chord is three notes played together. These four are enough to accompany a tune you already know.

Play the notes at the same time, or one after another like a little bell. C major is the home chord. F steps away. G wants to come back home. A minor is the gentle, slightly sad one.

C, E and G. This is home.

A sequence for Twinkle, Twinkle

Sing the words and play the chord written beside them. The pattern is C, C, F, C, F, C, G, C. That is a I–IV–V song in the key of C, which is the usual first key on the piano.

Hear the chords first, then press Your turn and play each chord before the next line.

When you want a tune of your own on top, try writing one or record it.
